How It Meets Our Value Standards:

Why We Love Bite: They’re eliminating single-use plastics from our necessary, daily routines.

About Bite:  Born from a love for surfing and a growing concern for plastic pollution, was founded by Lindsay McCormick. The idea for a zero-waste personal care brand took off when Lindsay learned a staggering statistic that we throw out over one billion plastic toothpaste tubes every single year (which is the mass of the Empire State Building fifty times over every year) only solidified her resolve. Bite started with a simple mission: to create effective personal care products that were kind to your body and the planet. Their plastic-free toothpaste bits were a hit (even the two Sharks from Shark Tank thought so), and the company has only grown from there, offering a range of sustainable oral care and body products. Bite’s mission is to eliminate plastic waste in our daily routines, and its success is a testament to the power of small changes.
